Did you know that California is expanding Transitional Kindergarten (TK) making more students eligible next year?

For the upcoming 2022-23 school year, parents of students who turn 5 between September 2 and February 2, 2023 can register their children for Transitional Kindergarten (TK), expanding the program by two additional birth months.

With approximately 270 students attending Heather School, it is inevitable that conflicts may arise between our Colts. Learning how to respond when they happen has been part of our work . . . October is Safety Month

We will be participating in the “Great California Shakeout” earthquake drill Thursday October 21. Our students will practice “Drop, cover, and hold-on,” and then evacuate to our evacuation assembly areas, then we will move into the whole school assembly on the field, practicing what we’d do if the emergency didn’t allow us to return to classrooms. Heather staff have been reviewing and updating our Heather Emergency Plan that describes our teams working together for our overall safety in an emergency. Read More
