A Focus using an Anti-racist Lens
Everything we do, from curriculum to community circles, needs to be planned and implemented using an anti-racist and social justice lens. We know that we need to educate not only our students but also our staff and families on what this really means. We need to have candid and real conversations and interrupt incidents and situations we know are inequitable. There are many resources we, as a district, are tapping into and using for professional development purposes. As a community, families can join our PTA Anti-Racist group as well as connect with our Community Foundation of San Carlos.
