Heather Registration & New Family Information
All students wishing to enroll in a San Carlos School District school, including Heather, may come down to register anytime at the District Office at 1200 Industrial Road, Unit 9 in San Carlos Monday- Friday between the hours of 8:30am- 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. The registration process is centralized at the District office for all school, with the exception of the San Carlos Charter Learning Center.
Once a student has been registered to attend school in the San Carlos School District, the District will automatically re-register the student for the succeeding school year. Teacher and classroom assignments are posted approximately one week before the first day of school in the front window of the school Administration building as well as being emailed out to all families.

Completing the online registration process will save you time, as information often duplicated on forms will be auto-populated and saved each year only needing updating. After registration parents will receive a letter via US Postal Service which includes a link to the secure registration website and a snapcode needed to register your child. Do not lose this letter. Your child will not be admitted into school until InfoSnap is completed each year.
School tours for registered incoming families will be offered in January and February. Please call the office after the first of the year, (650) 508-7303 to sign up for a school tour and informational session with the principal. School tours for new incoming families for 2020-21 are scheduled for January 17 and February 7, 8:30-10:00. Please call the office to sign up as seating is limited. Additional tour dates will be added as the need arises. School tours are for parents only.
TK and Kindergarten Orientation and Multiage Parent Information Night is held on an evening in early May in the Multi-Use Room (MUR). This is a parent-only event. Please arrange childcare.
Open House is held near the end of the school year, usually in mid to late May, and provides an opportunity for students to bring their friends and family to their classroom to see what they have accomplished during the year. All classrooms are open, so everyone has the chance to visit not only their class, but other classes to get a feel for what one might expect in grade levels to come. New families with incoming students are welcome to attend Open House the spring before their child starts school. Teachers just request that new families understand that this is a night to celebrate the work of their current students and it not be used to introduce your own child or to interview the teacher about their program.
Kindergarten Round-up is held in May and parents can sign up for Round up at the Kindergarten Orientation or call the school office after the Orientation event.
Back to School Night is held usually the second week of the school year in your child’s classroom and is the time for teachers to present their program to parents and what to expect for the school, year.
Teacher and classroom assignments are sent via email the Friday afternoon before the first day of school.
